COVID-19 Policy


We ask everyone attending Rivoli Meeting Room to download and use The NHS Test & Trace App.  The QR Code is clearly displayed at the entrance to the meeting room and can be scanned on arrival. To check  the latest government updates relating to COVID-19 please visit:

To ensure that Rivoli is ‘covid-secure’ and safe for anyone working in or hiring the room we will be following government guidelines on safe working including social distancing where possible, regular hand washing and an enhanced cleaning regime between bookings along with regular cleaning of surfaces (door handles etc.) during bookings.

For now we will not be offering tea & coffee making facilities and ask that the kitchen area is only used for hand washing and the provision of drinking water during your booking.

We have provided hand sanitiser alongside hand washing facilities in the toilets and kitchen area. We are also providing the use of re-usable cotton hand towels (1 per client) for use during your booking, paper towels if you prefer and the hand-dryers are still available to use if you wish.

Clients that are booking for a whole day and wish to bring food on-site, and require the use of the fridge, should inform us in advance of their booking so that we can ensure the fridge has received additional cleaning prior to your arrival.

Booking with us

We recommend all new clients come to view the room and carry out their own independent risk assessment prior to booking with us.

The hirer will be responsible for using the room safely at all times and implementing appropriate government guidelines on working safely in an office environment in order to maintain the health and safety of themselves and their clients. Please do not attend if you have a cough, cold or fever.​

We recommend the use of masks where appropriate at the discretion of The Hirer.

In order to help us manage the changed work environment we will only be taking one booking per day for either a full day or half day booking, and will not be offering ‘by the hour’ bookings until further notice. It may be possible at a future date to offer two half day bookings on the same day provided there is a long enough gap between the two bookings to thoroughly clean and prepare the room.

To provide a covid-secure space we need to limit the number of people on the premises at anyone time which means we will not be able accommodate larger groups of people in the short term. This will be reviewed regularly in-line with government health & safety advice.

However the number of people that we can accommodate will depend on the nature of your meeting, ie boardroom meeting, lecture style seating or standing networking event etc. so please get in touch to see if we are right for you at this time.


If you have a booking with us and contract or show any Coronavirus symptoms, have been into contact with anyone suffering from the symptoms of, or are currently diagnosed with, Coronavirus, that you please contact us immediately and do not attend Rivoli Meeting Room. Please follow all the appropriate NHS guidance on dealing with Coronavirus and do not re-book with us until you, and anyone else attending your meeting, are clear of Coronavirus symptoms or have quarantined for the advised 14 day period.

Likewise if we are unwell we will inform you immediately, cancel your booking and refund your money as soon a possible. 

If anyone attending Rivoli Meeting Room becomes unwell during the day of your booking with the symptoms of Coronavirus please end your session immediately, inform us and vacate the premises as soon as possible.

NHS Test & Trace

To assist this service we ask that you keep a temporary record of your clients for 21 days, in a way that is manageable for your business, and assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed. We will follow the same system should the need arise.
